The evaluation is dependent on the child's baseline communicative skills to obtain analytical information in the area of speech sound production and receptive and expressive abilities in the child's native language. A parent phone interview (approximately 2 hours) entails gathering of case history information - birth history, developmental history (speech and language development, motor milestones, attention span), medical/neurological history, family history, educational and therapy history, sensory, feeding and swallowing history. At the conclusion of the evaluation, a written report will be faxed and/or mailed to the client following HIPAA guidelines.
