Anita RahimAnita N. Rahim is the Principal and CEO of SLP-Allied Health Staffing Network.  Ms. Rahim is an ASHA board certified speech-language pathologist and certified in the Orton-Gillingham Reading and Writing Program. She graduated with a Masters of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from MGH-Institute of Health Professions (2002), an academic affiliate of Massachusetts General Hospital, the major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. She completed her Bachelors of Science degree also in Communication Sciences Disorders from the Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (2000) at Boston University. During her speech and language graduate career, she was trained in reading and writing programs, such as the Orton-Gillingham program and the Telian Multisensory Mnemonic program.

Ms. Rahim is a bilingual (English and Urdu) speech-language pathologist with over 14 years of experience, and is based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.  She provides online consultations and private consultations to school districts and private clients.  

Ms. Rahim has previously worked as a clinical supervisor and coached speech-language pathologists in training during speech, language, cognitive and swallowing evaluations and treatment sessions.  She has developed and presented case studies on bilingual patients with bi-sensorineural hearing loss, who lacked interpersonal skills and had multiple speech and language impairments.

Ms. Rahim has provided services to families with children who are on the Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) Spectrum, children with Autism, Down's syndrome, Apraxia of speech, dysfluency (stuttering), language learning disability, dyslexia, elective mutism, traumatic brain injury, cleft palate and lip, language disorders, speech and language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, feeding and swallowing disorders.
